Undergraduate Education:

Anatomy
A 1st year subject that introduces the students to the Anatomy that is required throughout their practise of dentistry. Housed on the 6th floor of the institution it is spread over an area of 3570 sq.ft .Teaching is conducted through various one to one interaction where the students get an opportunity to interact with the staff and get their doubts cleared

Undergraduate  lab

Dissection lab
The Dissection theatre is spread over and can accommodate over 100 students housing 10 Dissection tables, chairs, working trolleys with revolving stools. The dissection hall consists of store room and tank for storing cadavers with sterilization facility. Museum, Osteology room and Lab technician rooms are also present in Department.
Histology lab:

The histology lab consists of 35 microscopes and wide area which can accommodated with over 50 students and with revolving chairs and tables consisting tube lights

Teaching
Undergraduate programme in Anatomy is designed to enable the qualifying dental surgeon to apply to diagnose, analyze and treat common Dental problems by preventive, interceptive and corrective procedures. This programme provides an in-depth knowledge about the growth & development, diagnosis, treatment planning, material science, appliances and management of different types of Dental diseases. Anatomy as the course curriculum, (which follows strict DCI norms) in the Undergraduate program is designed to provide strong theoretical and practical background, enabling the students to treat completely or partially edentulous patients.

Foundation knowledge and techniques are taught by lectures, video and demonstrations that are correlated with the student's dissection exercises.

Apart from the routine classes and dissections, assignments are given as part of academic curriculum.
