GOALS

  1. The goal of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program is to provide basic and advanced education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery  for an improved understanding of Oral and Maxillofacial diseases and increased skills in their surgical management.
  2. To transform the nature of dental education and practice in ways that will dramatically improve the way we serve our students, patients, and the community.

OBJECTIVES
The training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is to structure and achieve the following objectives

  • To train the undergraduates and the post graduate students in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery with advanced techniques and clinical procedures and inculcate good communication skills with patient so as to ensure higher competence and prepare them for the career in teaching ,research  and speciality practice .
  • To make available specialised surgical care in the field of  Oral and  Maxillofacial Surgery for the needy and suffering .
