The department of radiology has an inbuilt area of 1546 sq ft and it has following separate sections:

1. Two intraoral radiographic sections
2. OPG and Cephalogram section
3. Extraoral radiographic section
4. Digital Imaging section
5. Processing section

On an average about hundred intraoral radiographs are taken in a day.The number of specialized radiographs is about 10-15per day.    

Apart from conventional radiographs specialized techniques like TMJ radiographs, skull radiographs, sailography, are available. A well equipped processing unit supports the department facilities for both automatic and manual processing. It also has other accessories like:

1. Film storage unit
2. Drying cabinets
3. Film viewers

The entire radiographic section is equipped with necessary radiation protection measures in accordance with the international norms.
