A) Academics

• BRM Thirugunyeshwari of Vth sem EEE won Third place in Poster Competition held in The oxford College of Engineering on 03/08/2020.
• Shaziya M B of VII Semester participated in Essay writing & Arts in Daksha 2020 on 12th – 14th May 2nd  2020 won 2nd Place,Story Writing Contest
• Ivana Merlin of VII Semester participated in various events like International essay/article competition secured 2nd Rank, national level essay competition, slogan content secured first prize, Article writing contest secured first prize, Essay competition securied 2nd prize, Dhaksha write up competition second Runner up, Essay writing contest (first prize)
• Ms.Ivana Merlin B of V th Semester EEE successfully completed the course on "SMART GRID", NPTEL online certification programme Aug - Dec 2019 also she won the First Place in Essay Writing conducted on 07/11/19 for Vigilance Awarness Week by Bank of Baroda. She have done an Internship on Biodigester Environmental Monitoring during July 2019.
• Mr.Abhishek V of V th semester EEE have done an Internship on "Industrial Automation Using PLC & SCADA" from Live Wire during July 2019. Also He have participated in one day hands on Python Workshop organized by Take it easy engineers in assossiation with Tech fortune technologies on 11th August 2019.
• Ms.Rashmi K S of VII semester EEE dept has successfully completed the course on the "Fundamental of Digital Marketing" on 28/07/2019. Also She has attended 3 daysWorkshop  on the "Electrical Designing" on Sep 2019.
• Anmol, Sagar D, Ruthik Gowda , Chethan H, Dhruva DL, Bhramanand Reddy, Naresh Prajapathi, Raghunandan won first place in Mime
• Uzma Parveen HI , III Prize in “National Education Day Poetry Competition” Conducted by ASMA, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
• BRM Thirugunyeshwari attended various programs like, Introduction to IoT & Aurdino on 10th Aug 20, Students Career Guidance on 1st Aug 2020, Python Programming, Drone & Self Driving Car, Robotics, International Hands on Workshop on Virtual Robotics, Innovation Opportunities in Robotics, Drone and AI Post Covid -19, Dialux, Introduction to Robotics, Smart Grid Webinar, Introduction to Arduino and Raspberry Pie, Matlab for all.
• Nithya N attended various programs like, Python for data science, Power Systems, Renewable Energy Conversions on 6th Jan2020, International Hands on Workshop on Virtual Robotics on 03/08/2020 to 09/08/2020, Engineers Role during Pandmics on 03rd & 4th June 2020

B) Sports

• Students of EEE Department participated and won Runners trophy in VTU Central Zone KHO-KHO Tournament held on 1/3/2019 at CMRIT, Bangalore.
  
• Students of EEE Department participated and won Runners trophy in VTU Central Zone Volley Ball Tournament held on 8/3/2019 at TOCE, Bangalore.
