IEEE Workshop on “Advanced Linux Concepts” with hands-on Experience
on 23rd and 24th September,2011.
We are happy to inform you that The Department of Computer Applications and Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering is organizing a two days Workshop titled “Advanced Linux Concepts” o n 23rdand 24th September, 2011. This workshop has been organized in support of IEEE Computer Society & Women in Engineering, Bangalore Section and makes the students aware about the power of Linux open source. We strive to bridge the gap between Industry and Academia. It connects students with industry professionals and provides exposure and new opportunities by creating interactive environment in the workshop.
The purpose of this workshop is to expose the students/Academicians/Research Scholars/Industry professionals to learn advanced concepts of Linux with hands-on experience. It goes beyond merely "getting around" to a level where you can harness some of Linux's power and flexibility, and be more equipped to expand your knowledge by exploring things yourself. This workshop will be more useful for those who are pursuing research and aspiring to start research towards in the area of Advanced Linux Technology.
In view of the potential benefits that could ensure from the workshop, we request you to motivate your faculty members of CSE, ISE, ECE, IT and MCA, researchers, students and other who are interested to attend this workshop.
