HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT:
The foundation for the great empire, The Oxford Institutions was laid by our Founder Chairman Sri. S. Narasa Raju in 1974 with 24 students. Since then, there was no turning back. The progress made in providing quality education is highly remarkable.

Under the eminent guidance of our Founder Chairman and supervision of our Dynamic Director, Mr. N. Ramesh Raju, a clear chiseled way to successful imparting of knowledge, through modern technological medium was derived with different units to provide good education to the future generation. It beckons the students from all over India to pursue their studies.

OBJECTIVES:
"The Destiny of our Nation is being shaped in her class room." To shape our nation's destiny with maximum potential for an extensive out come is our objective. We too are little drops of the great ocean, The Oxford Institution which works tirelessly to produce a well groomed future generation of our nation.

The Oxford English Nursery, Primary And High Schools

The Schools are managed by the Children’s Education Society. (Regd).

The Oxford English Nursery, Primary and High Schools have been affiliated to the Karnataka State Education Board, and are permanently recognized by the Govt of Karnataka. The classes are conducted from Nursery to Standard X.

Eligibility Criteria:

Pre Primary Classes:

Lower Kindergarten (L.K.G) - The child should have completed 3+ years of age.

Upper Kindergarten (U.K.G) - The child should have completed 3 years, 10 months to 4 years of age.

The child should have completed 4 years 10 months to 5 years, the age reckoned as on 1st June of the academic year of admission.

Admission Procedure:

A Child-friendly interview is conducted in the presence of parents.

Primary, Higher Primary and High School Classes:

For I Std–age 5 years 10 months to 6 years as on 1st June of the year of admission and should have completed Kindergarten.
From 1st Std to 7th Std. The language combination is as under:

I   Language : English
II  Language : Kannada
III Language : Hindi

From 8th Std to 10th Std. A student can choose one of the following language combinations.

From 8^th Std to 10^th Std. A student can choose one of the following language combinations.

Admission Procedure:
Based on the performance in a "Student – Friendly " conceptual and skill based assessment questionnaire, followed by an interview with parents and the pupil.
