Programme of study

This is a 4-year, full time degree course affiliated to R.G.U.H.S recognized by the Government of Karnataka, Karnataka Nursing Council (K. N. C) and the Indian Nursing Council (INC) New Delhi. The broad objective of the course is to enable the student to develop the ability to identify and assess health status & needs, to competently plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.

The Eligibility Criteria

Should have cleared the Pre-University examination of Karnataka with Science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Obtained at least 45% of total marks in Science subjects.

Minimum age: 17 years.

Admission Procedure

By an Entrance examination to test English language skills, reasoning ability and aptitude, followed by group discussions and personal interviews.
