The foundation of The Oxford
Institutions was laid by the Children's Education
Society in 1974. Our respected Chairman, Sri.
S. Narasaraju with zealous aspirations, fulfilled
his earnest ambition while establishing Children's
Education Society and now a galaxy of Educational
Institutions pose in his Decorum as the Jewels
in a Crown.
He is rightly called a man of mission who visualized
excellence, perfection and variety. In the process,
made great venture in establishing The Oxford
Senior Secondary School (Affiliated to C.B.S.E.
New Delhi) during 1989-90 with first Principal
in charge Mrs. Jacqueline Lawrence. Smt. P.Indira
Prithviraj, the Founder Principal of The Oxford
Senior Secondary School in the year 1990-91
is well known for her skill in result oriented
approach in getting 100% pass results in the
Institution. She with her pivotal force and
rich experience gave an impetus for all the
allied Institutions of the Oxford to function
in "UNISON". Thus claiming a unique
and distinct recognition in the educational
scenario of Bangalore.
The Oxford Senior Secondary School under the
CBSE Scheme was established by the Management
in the Year 1990. This School has a composite
affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary
Education, New Delhi vide circular Letter CBSE/
AFF/ 8328/ 12889 dated 25.11.1987.
At present the school has classes from Nursery
to Std XII on the CBSE pattern vide aff. (for
XII Std) ref. No.CBSE/AFF/8328/93/6835-40 dated
2.9.93.

The Kothari commission has slightly remarked
that the destiny of a nation is being shaped
in her classrooms. We strive to inculcate in
