The Oxford Dental College, Hospital and Research
Center was established in the year 1992. The college
has a sprawling campus spread over 10.5 acres
of land in Bommanahalli off Hosur Road. The built
up area is about 2, 85,000 square feet. The building
is spacious with eight floors and includes well-equipped
labs, clinics and library. The degree is affiliated
to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences,
recognized by the Government of Karnataka, and
Dental Council of India. The objective of the
course involves detection, prevention of oral
diseases/ lesions/ conditions and also enables
the students to deal with Treatment planning and
Treatment. Dentists can establish independent
clinics or foray into higher studies, teaching,
research etc.
