The students are admitted to the Oxford College of Engineering on merit, as per the directives of the Government of Karnataka from time to time, both to the Government Quota and the Management Quota.

FOR B.E.:

The candidate shall have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) in three subjects of Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects namely, Chemistry, Biology, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Electronics and shall have completed PUC, 10 + 2, or its equivalent with English as one of the languages.

FOR MBA:

3 years Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) of all subjects, including languages.

FOR MCA:

Eligibility for admission to MCA is a pass in any degree of minimum 3 years duration in ay discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in all the years of degree examination (45% of marks in case of SC/ST candidates) including languages. Must have studied Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Application/Computer Programming as one of the Optional/Electives Subjects. Provided further that in respect of candidates who have passed one of the subjects specified above in the P.U.C. course with 50% of Marks in that subject shall also be considered for admission.

FOR M.Tech.:

Eligibility for admission to M.Tech. is a pass in qualifying examinations (specified below)
With not less than 50 % marks in aggregate of all the semester / years of degree examinations. In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and cat. I, marks shall not be less than 45 %.

Power Electronics:

Bachelor degree in Electronics and communication / Instrumentation Technology / Telecommunication / Electrical and Electronics / Bio medical Engineering / Medical Electronics / or equivalent degree; AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE ; EN,IN,EE.

Thermal Power Engineering:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Production Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering / or equivalent degree ; AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE ; ME, PI.
