The Training & Placement Department of The Oxford College of Engineering
is entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring that students are well placed
professionally thereby bringing to a successful culmination of the students’
efforts in the program. Students seeking assistance for placement must recognize
that their employability depends upon a variety of factors including their level
of academic preparation, written and oral communication skills, interview facing
skills and their specialization. Hence, even though efforts are made to bring
the best of companies to the campus—given the solid track record of The
Oxford Institutions and its brand name—ultimately the ability to “clinch”
a job depends on the student. Therefore, to enhance the student chances
of placement in the companies Training and Placement Department of the college
takes all out efforts to help the students in their Campus Interview selection
process by conducting specialized training course in personality development and
communication skills for all the students starting from first year. In addition,
the Institute arranges for a comprehensive Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) program
for all pre-final year students as a special support through a competent external
agency with highly skilled resource persons. Also, in order to raise the standard
of English language of all students, special training facility is provided.
An English Language Lab with 40 computer systems and English Lab Solution
Software supplied by Globerena has been provided where audio-video techniques
are introduced. Lecturing classes are arranged on a full-time basis, which are
included in their regular Time Table where in focus is made on grammar, accent
& vocabulary. The Training & Placement Department comprises of
a dedicated group of professionals, constantly striving hard to enhance and improvise
the placement process. The Department has been successful in placing majority
of the total number of graduating students. The mission of the Training
& Placement Department is “to facilitate and achieve 100% placements
for successful students of the institution with salaries and career paths that
