About The Oxford Evening Polytechnic

The Scope

The Oxford Evening Polytechnic was established in the year 1991. It offers the following five courses:

  • Civil Engineering.
  • Computer Science.
  • Electronics and Communication.
  • Instrumentation and Control.
  • Information Science.

Eligibility for Admission:

  1. Must have passed the Karnataka S.S.L.C or equivalent exam by securing 35% marks in Science and Maths. This rule also applies for candidates belonging to Category - I, II(a), II(b), III(a), III(b) and rural category.
  2. The candidate should have studied in any of the Karnataka Govt. approved institution from 1st Standard to 10th Standard at least for a period of 5 years. The five years study certificate should be counter signed by the Jurisdictional Block Education Officer.
  3. The candidates who have migrated to karnataka from other states are not aligible to enjoy the reservation Policy of Karnataka Government.
  4. Must be in employment as on date in a recognised approved firm/organisation with at least three years experience in the field concerned.
  5. The candidate should produce along with the application a 'No Objection Certificate' and 'Experience Certificate' issued from the employer concerned, and companies S.S.I Registration Certificate.
