Children’s Educational Society - Established in 1974.

The Oxford College of MTA - Started in 1999.

The Master of Tourism Administration programme is a 2 years fulltime post graduate course recognized by the Government of Karnataka affiliated to the Bangalore University and the course meet the University stipulations.

Vision:

To prepare the youth of our college for their future success in life through Quality Education making them aware of their in-born talents and abilities, and helping them to develop right professional approach, as <<Athithi Devo Bava>> is the tradition in service and hospitality industry.

Mission:

The mission of the institute is to develop itself into a unique center of Tourism Management Education, Research and Consultancy and to offer the best relevant Management Education Programmes. We are committed in our mission with the spirit of practicing <<Heritage>> in terms of Hospitality.

Infrastructure:

  • MTA has qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty to impart quality education in tourism.
  • Classroom teaching is well equipped with the latest teaching aids – Audio Video, LCD, OHP and Multi – media display.
  • Internship training to facilitate students to get hands on experience in reputed travel trade organizations.
  • Application of software for decision making and proficiency in internet usage is included in the curriculum
  • Well stocked spacious library provided to students to enrich their knowledge.
  • Our placement cell assists in all aspects to get into the hospitality & service industry.

Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree Examination from a recognized University in Commerce, Arts, Social Science, Science, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent. Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination (45% for SC/ST candidates)in aggregate are eligible for admission to this course. Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates or other backward categories.
