Discipline
Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Nursing Sciences expect a high level of discipline and decorum from students, which shows up in a disciplined approach. Students are expected to be smartly dressed at all occasions and are required to follow the prescribed dress code for theory classes and clinicals.

Students, who do not fulfil the attendance requirement prescribed by the University/Board, will not be allowed to take up the Annual Examinations. For the B.Sc. Nursing Programme, it is 80% and 75% for the Diploma Programme.

Ragging in any form is viewed seriously by the Management and anyone found indulging in it would face severe punishment that could extend to summary dismissal. Ragging is also an offence under the Karnataka Education Act, 1983.

Uniform
The students are required to wear the uniform prescribed by the Institution. The uniform will be stitched by the institution and the student will have to bear the cost of it.

Withdrawal and Dismissal
If any student decides to withdraw voluntarily from the institution, during training period or at any stage before completing teh course, the student should pay back to the college all the money spent on her by the college.
The college reserves the right to terminate any student whose work or conduct is not found satisfactory during the period of training.

Student Health Programme
A comprehensive health programme is available to all students. Students undergo a complete medical check up on admission and thereafter every year.
