Diploma in Education is a Two year program designed to train young students to become tomorrow's Teachers. DEd program is affiliated to State Govt and approved by National Council of Teacher Education (N.C.T.E). History & Objectives of the Institution.

The primary teacher training Institute established in the year 1985-86. It was permanently recognised by the Govt of Karnataka & approved by the N.C.T.E in the year 1996.

Objectives: Teaching profession is a noble profession. Teachers are the fundamental blocks to train the citizens of tomorrow. A good teacher is an ideal for life. The Kotari Commission had rightly remarked that the destiny of our nation is being shaped in the classromms. We strive to imbibe in our students, So as to realize their responsibilities as citizens of a progressive democratic Country. We believe in "VIDYA SARVATHRA SHOBATHE"
Primary Education is the foundation for all later Education Systems, teacher therefore has to be well versed both in theory and practical aspects of primary education. Primary Education aims at the integration of a child's physical , mental and emotional activities in accordance with individual's needs.
