Dear Students,
 Welcome to the college & School of Nursing, which is the flagship of Children’s Education Society (Regd.) founded by Sri S. NARASARAJU to promote Educational Institutions to impart Quality education. Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Nursing Sciences was founded in the year 2003-2004 and offers Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery ,B.Sc(N)& M.Sc(N) programme from the year 2009.
These courses are recognized by Govt. of Karnataka, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery Examination Board, Karnataka Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council , New DelhiThe Programme brings to focus the necessity to equip and channelize the attitude, knowledge, skill and talents of the students effectively and efficiently to provide quality care to meet the needs of human kind. Students are exposed to challenging opportunities for rewarding career and suitable positions globally.
The B.Sc nursing programme is designed on contemporary theory and practice , provides a strong Conceptual foundation to the aspiring University graduate Nurses , rewarding positions and career opportunities in the field of Nursing. This programme demands intellectual maturity, Strength and purpose, willingness and devotion to serve mankind
The M.Sc(N ) nursing programme designed to utilize and apply the concepts, theories and principles of nursing sciences, demonstrate advanced competence in practice of nursing, demonstrate leadership qualities and functions effectively as nurse specialist , nurse educator and manager, students will also demonstrate skill in conducting research, interpreting and utilizing the finding of health relatedresearch
