SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS -2012

• Gethanjali G of 1st year M Sc student, got silver medal in the event Shot put (7.93 Mts) from bangalore university inter-collegiate athletic meet, organized by department of physical education, bangalore university, on 12th, 13th , and 14th of september 2012
• Gethanjali G of 1st year M Sc student, got silver medal in the event Discus throw  (24.75 Mts) from bangalore university inter-collegiate athletic meet, organized by department of physical education, bangalore university, on 12th, 13th , and 14th of september 2012
• Gethanjali G of 1st year M Sc student, selected to Bangalore University Women’s volleyball team in the year of  2012-13
• Men’s cricket team winners of TAURUS CUP 2012 organised by Taurue Cricket Academy

AIM OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Physical education is the wholesome development of human personality for complete living.

OBJECTIVES OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

1. To develop and maintain minimum physical efficiency.
2. To develop useful skills
3. To conduct one self in socially useful ways.
4. To enjoy wholesome recreation.
