Welcome to “Oxford College of Nursing Sciences,” which is under the flagship of “Children’s Education Society ®”. It was founded by our esteemed founder Late Shri. S. NARASARAJU with his great vision of imparting quality education in the field of Nursing. With the same spirit in mind, our present Honorable Chairman Dr. S N V L NARASIMHA RAJU has always been tirelessly playing a crucial role in upbringing the overall growth of the college.

“Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Nursing Sciences” was established in the year 2003. Presently ourcollege goes with the name “Oxford College of Nursing Sciences” and the decision was made in the mid-year of 2019 by our Administration. The college offer B.Sc. Nursing of 4 years, M.Sc. Nursing of 2 years, PB B.Sc. Nursing of 2 years &Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery Course of 3 years. These courses are affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board (K.S.D.N.E.B). The courses are recognized by Karnataka State Nursing Council (K.S.N.C) and Indian Nursing Council (I.N.C), New Delhi.

The programs bring to focus the necessity to equip for challenges, channelize attitudes, knowledge, skills and talents of students effectively and efficiently to provide quality care to meet the needs of humankind.

The college has a wealth of qualified and experienced faculty and specialized external lecturers who are devoted to academic perfection to make sure topnotch education is rendered. Apart from the theoretical knowledge we enhance their clinical skill by training them in the skill labs adequately and exposing them to acquire clinical skill in the real patients in the hospital and community. As result, our students develop the needed skills and are fully prepared for delivering quality practice in real-world environments upon graduation. So, our students’ success is our success!

Our nursing programs are designed with contemporary theory and practice in the nursing field, and is time-tested to provide a strong conceptual foundation to any aspiring university graduate nurses and with your sincere participation I can guarantee you will have rewarding positions and career opportunities in the field of nursing in our own nation and if you choose to, you can relocate yourself tens and thousands of miles away from here and have really challenging careers anywhere in the world. We make our students competent by providing –preventive, curative and rehabilitative services in hospital and Community settings. The students strive to protect the rights of their patients and conduct research studies in areas of nursing practice. The programme also encompasses SNA and NSS activities.

Nursing does demand intellectual maturity, strength of purpose, willingness and devotion to serve mankind. More so than most other professional careers because we empathize with healthcare needs of people with all ethnicities around the globe. Comes with a host of challenges but definitely a privileged career path!
